INSEMINATION INFORMATION and FERTILITY EVALUATION

I. OVULATION MONITORING TEST - Start checking morning urine in a cup on day 10 of your cycle (count day 1 as first day of full red bleeding).  Mark this day on the calendar.  Also mark first day of period.

A. Ovulation predictor kits:

· Clear Blue Easy® or Clear Plan®
· Walgreen's or others

B. Temperature charts are optional

II. LAB/BLOOD TESTS MAY BE ORDERED

A. Prenatal labs including:  CBC, chemistry, HIV, hepatitis A, B and C, syphilis, thyroid panel, rubella, pap, gonorrhea, chlamydia

B. FSH on day 2 or 3 of menstrual cycle

C. Progesterone level approximately days 5-7 after ovulation

D. Pelvic ultrasound on any day of cycle

E. HSG (hysterosalpingogram) on days 7-10 of menstrual cycle.
