Catherine Williamson, FNP
Catherine Williamson is a Family Nurse Practitioner. A native of St. Louis, Ms. Williamson has received several nursing degrees and became nationally certified as a nurse practitioner from UCLA in 1988.
In addition, she is certified as a HIV specialist (AAHIVS). Catherine has had a faculty appointment as an Adjunct Instructor at Washington University School of Medicine. She taught medical students in the Department of Internal Medicine.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Catherine has extensive experience performing physical examinations and ordering laboratory and diagnostic tests.
She prescribes medication and treatment in collaboration with Drs. Prelutsky and Summers. She also provides counseling and education to assist clients in making informed health care decisions.
Catherine has many years experience working in HIV/AIDS; adult medicine; women's health; sexually transmitted diseases in men and woman; pregnancy and fertility issues; menopause; gay, lesbian and transgender health; and alternative health treatments.
